baby Noah

Due to some complications, my friend Dawn had Noah two and a half months before his due date. He lives in an incubator in a dimly lit room, gets his breast milk through a tiny tube, and sleeps much of the time. I was only able to photograph him because my new camera has 6400 ISO- amazing! Mom and baby are healthy. He is up to 3lbs, 12oz now and will be learning to get milk from the nipple soon so he can go home... Life is such a delicate miracle.

charreada

The charreada felt like a movie set... absolutely amazing, but also really challenging not to make cliche pictures. I don't feel like I got past that yet, but hope to go back again soon. I've been so busy shooting and finishing up my master's project that I haven't had time to post much lately, but here's a little snippet and more soon... VIVA FIESTA!
