adaptive sailing
On Tuesday afternoon at Sugden Regional Park in East Naples, disabled patients from NCH celebrated National Rehabilitation Week at the Adaptive Sailing Center. John Fahr, 89 (right), and his sailing buddy volunteer Debra Frenkel wave at John's wife, Helen Fahr, while she snaps a photo as they bring the boat back in. John Fahr suffered a sudden stroke two and a half weeks ago and was rendered almost speechless. "Its been a change," explained Helen, "but I've never seen this many smiles... Tell her how many more years you've got, John! You're gonna make the three digit number, right?"
